In this class, we are going to learn how computer architecture should respond to emerging technological trends such as the availability of large amount of cheap transistors as well as challenging requirements such as low-power and pervasiveness. We will read classic and latest research papers in the field of architecture design. We will also learn how to come up with research ideas in this field, evaluate the idea, and write a conference-style project report.
