Abraham Borno received the B.S., M.S., M.Phil., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ, in 1989, 1991, 1993, and 1995, respectively. From 1990 through 1995, he was a Teaching and Research Assistant in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineeringat Rutgers University, where he also served as an Adjunct Professor from 1995 to 1996. He is presently with AT&T Bell Laboratories, Middletown, NJ, where he is a principal member of technical staff. His research interests include computer communication networks, control systems, wireless communications, digital signal processing, and computational methods. He has authored/co-authored several papers in the areas of optimal control of linear jump parameter control systems, singular perturbations, large-scale systems, Markov chains, and parallel algorithms. He is a member of Eta Kappa Nu and Tau Beta Pi honor societies.
