Welcome to my personal website!
A brief (academic) description of myself: I was born in Zakynthos, Greece, in 1986 (in the picture above, you may see Kalamaki Beach, a beautiful part of the famous Laganas Bay; this is where I grew up!). I received the M. Eng from the Department of Computer Engineering & Informatics (CEID), University of Patras, Greece (2010), and the M. Sc. from the interdepartmental graduate program SPCOMS (2012), also offered by the same university.
Currently, I am a senior Ph. D. student at the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE), Rutgers University, NJ, USA and a member of the Communications & Signal Processing Laboratory (CSPL).
My research interests primarily lie in the areas of Stochastic Optimization & Control and Decision Under Uncertainty, Stochastic Nonlinear Estimation, and Stochastic Dynamical Systems, with interesting applications in modern wireless, distributed, mobile & autonomously controlled communications/networks, both in the physical layer and the "information processing layer".
My advisor is professor Athina P. Petropulu.
As of September 2016, I am actively in the job market, with special preference in a research position. Please feel free to contact me.
